A Rustic Fairytale at The Barn at Chestnut Springs

Burlap and baby’s breath and barn wood, oh my! Jennifer and David’s May wedding in Sevierville, Tennessee, gave even the most exclusive shabby chic celebrations a run for their money.

In preparation for her shining moment, Jennifer enlisted the makeup and hair talents of Amanda McKnight from Southern Sirens, whose skilled hand left the bride luminous and luxurious. Flawlessly highlighted and masterfully coiffed, Jennifer’s natural beauty was allowed to shine not only in person, but also in each image astonishingly composed by Jaimie Carl, a photographer with a fresh eye and a unique dedication to synthesizing the tenderness and joy of the event into timeless treasures.

The wedding itself, held among the rolling hills of The Barn at Chestnut Springs, exuded Southern charm and a country sensibility that flawlessly matched the sweet spirits of the bride and groom. From the venue’s wealth of décor, the coordinators at Custom Love designed an outdoor ceremony comprised of hanging chiffon, burlap chair ties stuffed with baby’s breath, and a runway of delicate pink flower petals lining the aisle to the altar which perfectly complemented the awe-inspiring florals provided by Kim Jones of Kroger. Sensational Ceremonies officiant Chuck O’Connor’s service, which focused on the couple’s devotion to one another as well as their families, brought both bride and groom to tears, and the happy cries throughout their vows was a testament to their total and unwavering commitment. At that moment, Jennifer and David’s love story became a fairytale

Teary-eyed and beaming, the couple took five minutes alone before going into group photos as guests enjoyed a leisurely cocktail hour on the patio with delicious drinks served by The Pour Guys to a country-leaning soundtrack arranged by Smokey Mountain Sounds. Upon the return of the wedding party, the reception began with a mouth-watering buffet from Dead End Barbecue before a dessert of moist cupcakes from Publix and an adorable candy bar featuring all of the couple’s favorite confections.

After bouquets and garters were tossed, the celebration came to an end with a 9 o’clock sparkler exit followed by hugs and kisses all around as everyone basked in the perfect conclusion to a perfect day.
